The FV Series worm gear drives are standard worm gear drives. Our design however is made to reach the latest standards in the food industry.

Easy Cleanability, Sustainability and Hygienic design have been very important during the development process. Dertec worm gear drives are being produced in electro polished Stainless steel 316. The current line starts with a centre distance of 30 mm up to 110 mm and are easy to exchange with most common aluminium wormgear drives.

Especially for wormgear drives counts that the efficiency is a result of the transmission ratio. The higher the ratio the lower the final efficiency. For this reason we like to advise you to consider also our FK series or FH series Hypoid bevel gear drives offering high efficiencies of around 90% at ratio’s up to 300 : 1.

  • Made of high quality carefully electro polished Stainless Steel AISI316 (Mirror polished on request)
  • A smooth design gives the gearbox a nice appearance, ready to suit all kinds of stainless steel machinery for the food industry
  • Optional SS316 open and closed hollow shaft covers for extra hygiene
  • Optional SS316 easy-clean hygienic design Torque arms and footplates
  • Optional SS316 electro polished output flanges
  • Factory equipped with Synthetic H1 Foodgrade oil. Halal, Kosher or nut free certificated on request
  • Each gearbox is tested with a 100% factory preassure leak test
  • Optionally supplied with IEC motor adaption or with integrated motor

FV features are:

  • Standard ratio’s: 7.5 : 1 to 100 : 1
  • Standard hollow shafts: 14, 18, 25, 28, 30 & 35 mm
